Matt Stone Racing's New Livery Unveiling: A Look at the 2026 Season Line-up (2026)

Matt Stone Racing has unveiled its vibrant new liveries for the upcoming season, an event that took place today at the Distillery Road Market located in Eagleby, Queensland. This venue is conveniently situated not far from the team's headquarters in Yatala.

One of the most exciting aspects of this announcement is the full-time return of Sherrin Rentals, which will be partnering once again with driver Jake Le Brocq. This collaboration comes after the company supported a wildcard entry featuring Aaron Seton and Cameron Crick in 2025, marking a significant comeback to the racing grid.

Additionally, there’s a noteworthy shift in minor sponsorships with Tyrepower making its return to Matt Stone Racing. Having previously supported Le Brocq during his time at Erebus Motorsport, Tyrepower is excited to rejoin the team. Notably, they had been a primary sponsor at MSR, prominently displayed on Cameron Hill’s vehicle at the onset of the 2024 season.

Le Brocq’s return to Matt Stone Racing after two seasons at Erebus can be seen as a homecoming for him. It was with this team that he achieved a pivotal career milestone; his first Supercars race victory came at Hidden Valley in 2023, marking just his second win overall.

"I’m truly excited to reunite with Matt and the team," expressed Le Brocq. "Our past successes together, particularly our triumph in Darwin in 2023, are something I cherish. Matt's unwavering drive to propel the team forward is truly inspiring. I can't wait to take the wheel of the Sherrin Rentals Camaro!"

In a related development, Bendix, a manufacturer of braking components, is stepping back in as the principal sponsor for car #10, which this year will be driven by rookie standout Zach Bates. Bates replaces Nick Percat, who has moved on to become a co-driver at Triple Eight.

The livery for Bates’s car remains predominantly blue and largely unchanged, featuring only minor design adjustments along with updated sponsorship details. In 2025, Bates made several wildcard appearances in the Supercars Championship, where he notably finished in tenth place at the prestigious Bathurst 1000 alongside racing legend Craig Lowndes.

Bates is eager to kick off the season with the first round in Sydney. "The last couple of years have been phenomenal for me," he remarked. "Winning the Super2 championship in 2024 and teaming up with an icon like Craig Lowndes in 2025 has been incredible. I'm now thrilled to take the next step by joining Matt Stone Racing. There's so much for me to learn, but I'm backed by the right team, and I can’t wait to start racing!"

Team owner Matt Stone emphasized the importance of this year for his organization, stating, "We have made substantial investments in our personnel during the off-season to accelerate our growth and aim for the top. There's an undeniable excitement buzzing through our workshop this year; the entire team is committed to achieving success both on and off the track. I'm very optimistic about the direction we’re heading as a unit, and I look forward to the races beginning in Sydney later this month."

The Repco Supercars Championship season is set to kick off with the Dunlop Sydney 500 at Sydney Motorsport Park, scheduled for February 20-22.
